If both average product and marginal product are equal to 4 when 10 workers are employed, what can we most likely conclude about AP and MP when 15 workers are employed?

A. AM=MP=5 B. AP=5 and MP=6 C. AP=4 and MP=6 D. AP= 7 and MP=5

answer: D

explaination: beyond AP=MP=4, MPmust be less than AP.

疑问是,当AP与MP相交后,AP也将呈下降的趋势,怎么可能AP还等于7呢?MP早已经是下降趋势,MP也不能大于4的啊?

是我的理解有问题吗?

你是对的。答案应该是4>AP>MP。4是MP=AP的点。
